Whether you’re hosting a youth camp, a family retreat, a community service project, or a special event, we want to help spread the word! While we strive to support and promote activities that benefit our community, we reserve the right to review all submissions and decline any event that does not align with our values, mission, or beliefs.

    • palm sunday weekend at otterbein | march 28 & 29

      Join us on Palm Sunday weekend (March 28 & 29) for a special Worship Celebration service that will include our adult choir, worship team, children’s dance ministry, children's choir, and a message by Pastor Mike. 


      There will be two Saturday evening services this year, at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Childcare will be available for children from Nursery-Preschool. 


      On Palm Sunday there will be services at 8:00 a.m. with Childcare for Nursery-Preschool, 9:30 a.m. with Children & Youth ministry programming from Nursery-Grade 12, and 11:00 a.m. with Children's Ministry from Nursery-Grade 5. All services will be held in the Worship Center and available online. We are looking forward to celebrating the hope and joy of Easter with you!

    • college age (18-25) | march 29

      If you are a young adult (18-25) and want to connect with others your age and grow spiritually, join us on Sunday evenings. We connect each week over food, fellowship, and Bible study. On Sunday, March 29, join us at Pastor Dwight's house at 5:00 p.m. We're Bible Study! Questions? Email dwight.karkan@otterbeinchurch.org. 

    • easter weekend at otterbein church | april 4 & 5

      Otterbein Church is celebrating Jesus' resurrection on Easter Weekend! There will be a Saturday evening service at 6:30 p.m. Childcare will be available for children in Nursery-Preschool.


      On Easter Sunday there will be services at 8:00 a.m. with Childcare available for children in Nursery-Preschool, 9:30 a.m. with Children & Youth ministry programming from Nursery-Grade 12, and 11:00 a.m. with Children's Ministry from Nursery-Grade 5. All services will be held in the Worship Center and available online.

    • faith builders day care open house | april 11

      Faith Builders Day Care (801 Park Street, Waynesboro) is hosting their Pre-K Open House on Saturday, April 11 from 1-3 p.m. This is your chance to see the classroom, meet the teachers and engage in activities. There will also be a Scholastic Book Fair-- your chance to get some exciting new books for your child! We hope to see you there!

    • freedom riders | april 12

      Join a group from Otterbein for a group ride on Sunday, April 12. The group will leave from the church parking lot at 1:00 p.m. EVERYONE WHO RIDES IS WELCOME whether they attend Otterbein Church or not. If you are interested in going on the ride or learning more about the route, sign up HERE, on the OC App, or stop by Connection Point on Sunday morning.     • Womens' Day retreat | april 18

      The Connection is hosting a one-day retreat in the peaceful setting of Mt. Aetna Retreat Center on Saturday, April 18. You will be encouraged and inspired through teaching by Kelli as she weaves together the stories of Esther and Hagar, exploring “The God Who Sees.” Step away from the busyness of daily life and enjoy a day of rest, reflection, and spiritual renewal.       Vacation Bible School will take place at Otterbein Church on June 8-11, 2026, from 6:00-8:15 p.m. for children who just completed Kindergarten through 5th grade.


      **Preschool families: There will be a special preschool night on Thursday, June 11th for children entering kindergarten in the fall of 2026!

    • the connection: Garden party | june 9

      The Connection is hosting their annual Garden Party Fundraiser on June 9, 2026. Come enjoy great conversation, time to mingle, and delicious appetizers and desserts. Then, we’ll settle in to hear from our guest speaker and author, Diane Goetz. She is preparing a special message for us entitled: “Hearing God’s Voice in a Noisy World”.
