While we strive to support and promote activities that benefit our community, we reserve the right to review all submissions and decline any event that does not align with our values, mission, or beliefs.

    • wayne band concert | 8/3

      Wayne Band, the community band of Waynesboro, PA, in its 127th year, will present a concert on Monday, August 3 at 7:00 p.m. The concert will be held at the in the Colestock Building at Quincy Village. The concert is FREE and open to public.

    • young adults | 8/9

      Young Adults, are you looking to connect with others your age while growing in your faith? Each week, we gather for food, fellowship, fun, and Bible study. On Sunday, August 9, we'll meet at Funcastle at 5:00 p.m. for a round of mini golf before we dive into God's Word.     • veterans' coffee hour | 8/15

      Veterans- join us for free coffee, pastries, and comradeship with other Veterans. Meet new friends who have also served this great country in the armed services. This event is held the third Saturday of each month from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the American Legion Post 15 in Waynesboro, PA.

    • freedom riders | 8/16

      Join a group from Otterbein for a group ride on Sunday, August 16. The group will leave from the church parking lot at 1:00 p.m. EVERYONE WHO RIDES IS WELCOME whether they attend Otterbein Church or not. If you are interested in going on the ride or learning more about the route, sign up HERE, on the OC App, or stop by Connection Point on Sunday morning.       Young Adults, are you looking to connect with others your age while growing in your faith? Each week, we gather for food, fellowship, fun, and Bible study. On Sunday, August 16, we'll meet at Otterbein Church Park at 5:00 p.m. for a relaxed evening around the firepit as we study God's Word together.     • outdoor movie night | 8/21

      Otterbein Church is hosting an Outdoor Movie Night at their community park (13375 Welty Road). You're invited to a showing of "The Wild Robot," on Friday, August 21 at 7:30 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs. It’ll be a great time to relax, connect, and enjoy the last days of summer together under the stars. Click HERE to invite a friend!

    • outdoor worship service | 8/23

      Join us on Sunday, August 23 for an Outdoor Worship Service at Otterbein Church Community Park (13375 Welty Road, Waynesboro) including baptisms. We will all worship together at ONE service beginning at 10:15 a.m. Be sure to arrive early so you can park the car and set up your chairs by the stage. Children and youth will join adults for the worship service. Parents of children are invited to stop by the OC Kids table to pick up an activity pack (while supplies last).       Young Adults! Are you looking to connect with others your age while growing in your faith? We'd love to have you join us on Sunday evenings! Each week, we gather for food, fellowship, fun, and Bible study. On Sunday, August 23, we'll meet at the OC Youth Building at 5:00 p.m. for a fun night of karaoke. Take the mic, cheer on your friends, or simply enjoy the laughs! We'll wrap up the evening by opening God's Word together for Bible study.       In September, it will be 10 years since The Connection’s first public gathering. Wow! We need to celebrate. Please stop by our open house to reminisce, look at memorabilia, and enjoy delicious appetizers. It will be a fun time to remember what God has done so far through this unique ministry.     • The connection study | 9/10

      The Connection is hosting a women's study entitled "Finding Your Place in Ministry." The group will meet weekly on Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. beginning September 10. The study is open to women 18 and older. Following a comprehensive workbook participants will explore their unique design and understand what God’s Word says about their PLACE in life and ministry.     • bus trip | 11/5

      We still have tickets available to see “Winter Wonderland” at American Music Theatre in Lancaster on Thursday, November 5. The cost of the trip is $154.00 per person. This price includes your admission to the show, coach bus transportation, and a meal afterward at Hershey Farms. This trip is open to ANY ADULTS. Contact John Hoffman for tickets at 240-520-4743.
