Whether you’re hosting a youth camp, a family retreat, a community service project, or a special event, we want to help spread the word!     • young adults | 8/30

      Young Adults, are you looking to connect with others your age while growing in your faith? Each week, we gather for food, fellowship, fun, and Bible study. On Sunday, August 30, we'll meet at Otterbein Church Park at 5:00 p.m. for a relaxed evening around the firepit as we study God's Word together.       In September, it will be 10 years since The Connection’s first public gathering. Wow! We need to celebrate. Please stop by our open house to reminisce, look at memorabilia, and enjoy delicious appetizers. It will be a fun time to remember what God has done so far through this unique ministry.     • The connection study | 9/10

      The Connection is hosting a women's study entitled "Finding Your Place in Ministry." The group will meet weekly on Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. beginning September 10. The study is open to women 18 and older. Following a comprehensive workbook participants will explore their unique design and understand what God’s Word says about their PLACE in life and ministry.     • widow/widower breakfast | 9/12

      If you have experienced the loss of a spouse, we invite you to join us for Together at the Table, a welcoming breakfast designed to bring widows and widowers together for friendship, encouragement, and meaningful conversation. Just as sharing a meal has a way of fostering connection, our hope is that this gathering provides a place where no one has to walk the journey of loss alone. Join us on Saturday, September 12, from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the Otterbein Community Center. Breakfast is provided at no cost. Registration is requested, so please sign up HERE or stop by Connection Point on Sunday morning.

    • griefshare begins 9/16

      GriefShare is a Christ-centered small group that helps people apply biblical principles as they deal with the emotions and life stresses following the death of a loved one. The group includes video teaching followed by discussion. We will begin a new 13-week session on September 16.     • veterans' coffee hour | 9/19

      Veterans- join us for free coffee, pastries, and comradeship with other Veterans. Meet new friends who have also served this great country in the armed services. This event is held the third Saturday of each month from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the American Legion Post 15 in Waynesboro, PA.

    • freedom riders | 9/20

      Join a group from Otterbein for a group ride on Sunday, September 20. The group will leave from the church parking lot at 1:00 p.m. EVERYONE WHO RIDES IS WELCOME whether they attend Otterbein Church or not. If you are interested in going on the ride or learning more about the route, sign up HERE, on the OC App, or stop by Connection Point on Sunday morning.     • bus trip | 11/5

      We still have tickets available to see “Winter Wonderland” at American Music Theatre in Lancaster on Thursday, November 5. The cost of the trip is $154.00 per person. This price includes your admission to the show, coach bus transportation, and a meal afterward at Hershey Farms. This trip is open to ANY ADULTS. Contact John Hoffman for tickets at 240-520-4743.
