The Parent Cue App is a great resource for Parents. After creating an account, families will be able to access the weekly Bible story that is appropriate for their child's age/grade as well as the weekly bottom line (K-Grade 3) or key questions (Grades 4-5) and the monthly bible memory verse. It also includes other helpful resources.
Communion Discussion Parent Guide
At Otterbein, we have communion on the first Sunday of each month in our worship services. While doing CHURCH ONLINE, we encourage families to prepare to take communion at home while watching the service. You will need to have something to drink (juice, water, other beverage) and something to eat (cracker, bread, etc.) At a point in the service, those watching will be guided by one of the pastors to take communion. If your children have never taken communion, we encourage you to talk about it with them prior to doing this at home. CHECK OUT THIS PARENT RESOURCE to help you discuss communion with your child.
